Salon Leader - Henderson

TITLE: Salon Leader

Pay: $13.00/hour guaranteed, or commission if higher, plus tips and quarterly bonus opportunity

Location: SmartStyle Hair Salon, 540 Marks St, Henderson, NV 89014 (inside Walmart)

Schedule: Full-time. Evenings and weekends required.

Lead your own salon.

As Salon Leader, you run the salon. You're a working stylist who builds a strong team, delivers a great guest experience, and drives the salon's results. You'll have the support of local ownership and ongoing leadership training.

How you get paid

* Commission from day one, plus tips, on our leadership commission plan

* Guaranteed $13.00/hour if your commission comes in lower

* Quarterly bonus opportunity based on salon performance

What you'll do

* Provide cuts, color, and other services as a working stylist

* Lead, coach, and train your team

* Hire and onboard new stylists

* Build the schedule and manage labor to salon goals

* Manage the salon budget and run a profitable salon

* Drive service and retail sales

* Manage inventory, salon standards, and opening and closing procedures

* Make sure every guest has a great experience

What you need

* A current Nevada cosmetology license

* 2+ years of full-time salon experience, including 1+ year in a leadership role (Assistant Salon Leader, lead stylist, or manager)

* Availability for evenings and weekends

Physical requirements

* Good close and color vision to assess hair

* Standing, bending, reaching, and repetitive movements; occasionally lifting 10 to 25 lbs

* Comfortable working around hair chemicals and fragrances
