We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Salon Leader to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional service delivery in our salon. 

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for the beauty industry, and the ability to manage a team effectively.


As a Salon Leader:

You will be responsible for delivering a range of hair services, ensuring client satisfaction, and contributing to the overall success of our salon. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction while driving sales and managing salon operations.

Your expertise in various styling techniques and ability to connect with clients will help create a welcoming and enjoyable experience.

 

You'll have:

Duties:

  • Lead and motivate the salon team to achieve sales goals and provide outstanding customer service.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while providing the full range of hair care services to clients.
  • Consistently exhibit and develop technical competence. 
  • Manage inventory control, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and orders are placed as needed.
  • Ensure the salon schedules meet the needs of the business.
  • Implement marketing strategies to promote salon services and attract new clients.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for both clients and staff.
  • Train staff on best practices for customer service, product knowledge, and sales techniques.
  • Manage and control expenses.


Qualifications:

  • Valid and current cosmetology license.
  • Previous experience in a leadership role within a salon or similar environment is preferred.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage clients and staff alike.
  • A passion for the beauty industry and staying updated on trends and techniques.
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service and consistently perform quality services.
  • A team player with strong leadership qualities.
  • Ability to multitask and work at a fast pace while demonstrating good judgment and time management skills.
  • Communicate effectively with salon team, peers, supervisors, Wal-Mart staff, vendors, and customers.        
  • Ability to read and analyze various salon reports.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Occasional overtime and overnight travel may be required. The position may require working alone in the salon.
